I just got word that SHAPE Magazine is holding their 2011 Best Blogger Awards and are asking for your vote for the best blogs in 6 different categories: beauty, healthy living, food, fitness, weight loss and sports. Typically I wouldn't weigh in on an awards contest like this, but this time I'm slightly biased because one of our own was nominated.

You may be familiar with Shannon Nelson's posts on the beauty, fashion, fitness, jewelry and PR blog here at Pierce Mattie for the last 5 years, but she also has a blog of her own that she began well before writing for our PR firm. A Girl's Gotta Spa! is nominated in the beauty category and I personally want to encourage you to vote for her. You can do so by going to the Best Beauty Blogger ballot and selecting A Girl's Gotta Spa!
