Jewelry PR: Melissa Joy Manning Jewelry

What do Serena Williams, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Ritche all have in common? An appreciation for Melissa Joy Manning's signature jewelry collection. Featuring recycled materials to create unique pieces, Manning has been producing her line out of Berkeley, California since 1997.

Manning traveled to such countries as Mexico and Spain, where she began to develop her unique aesthetic during her college years. After seeing her piece on an actress on a then popular TV show, she knew that this was her true calling. Her signature line is comprised of necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets that all feature sterling silver, recycled 14K or 18K gold. She has a fondness for gems like quartz and sapphire, which are used heavily on her rings and necklaces. One of my all time favorite pieces happens to be her one of a kind rough diamond surrounded by tiny diamonds set in 18K gold ($2,115). It's utterly beautiful and is definitely a showstopper.

Her line has been featured in the pages of Vogue, Lucky Magazine and Women's Wear Daily just to name a few.

You can find her pieces at her signature flagship in Berkeley, California or hundreds of other trendy boutique stores around the country. Barneys and Barneys CO-OP carry her line also. Learn more at www.melissajoymanning.com.
