The Loyola Marymount grad initially thought her calling was the film industry, but when her on-set coworkers started purchasing her handmade jewelry right off of her body, she changed her direction. The transition was relatively seamless for Leigh: she still had an eye for art, now it was being used in a different capacity.
The inspiration comes from Leigh’s personal evolution as a woman, a wife, and a designer. She wears many hats, and the designs are meant to reflect the different aspects of her personality.
