It seems that no matter how rich and famous you are, there is still one truth about women no matter their social status: diamonds are a girl’s best friend. This Christmas socialite, Paris Hilton, received diamonds from her boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt. And as a good portion of the social media savvy do, Paris took to Twitter to not only tweet about the gift of diamonds, but also the store the custom made jewelry was purchased from: XIV Karats.
No stranger to celebrity clients (Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian) and the highly publicized lawsuit against Lindsay Lohan for their loaned jewels that were stolen during a robbery, XIV Karats is known for having the best selection of jewelry at value-based prices, something unheard of in Beverly Hills.
Paris Hilton is known for her love of diamonds (she even has a mobile game called “Paris Hilton Diamond Quest.” Seriously), so it’ll be interesting to see how the custom made design stands out from her collection of jewels. Either way, I’m sure XIV Karats didn’t mind the free publicity to Hilton’s million plus Twitter followers this holiday season.
