Fall 2008: Cocktail Rings

Give em' the ol' razzle dazzle...

One thing I am an absolute sucker for is a large cocktail ring.  I happen to be fortunate enough to inherit my grandmother's custom Cartier, but I am always looking for other finger fringe to change things up sometimes.  This season's offerings tend to be organic and gemstone-rich.

I think the cat is out of the bag...I worship Alexis Bittar.  This is the ring version of a red Chanel tweed suit. So if daring debutante is the look you are going for, slide this one on.
Swarovski Fetish Ring

Swarovski has really caught my attention as of late with a line of trendy jewelry to accompany its known-for crystal figurines.  Even though this ring reminds me of the crag rock (from Nickelodeon’s hit 90's competition show GUTS), I am astonished by it's Goth Glam qualities.  The dark sharp edges contrast the girly gemstones to create a gorgeous statement piece.

John Hardy delivers a lava rock inspired ring only to be back dropped by the signature Kali design.  This notable design (pebbled metal) will set off the trendy brand alarm while the custom looking arrangement of gems keeps it couture.

A large sparkling ring adds a certain ladylike quality to any sentiment.  It can accomplish the sometimes-arduous task of carrying the latest trend or it can become a personal trademark worn season after season.  Our hands are often said to broadcast our overall image.  So keep your manicure fresh and rings big and dazzling dahling.
