Chef Mario Batali Cooks Up New Timepiece with Ernst Benz

Let’s trim some of the fat off the hour hand. Okay…and let’s make the strap more of a cocoa brown. Hey, Len, while we’re at it, how about a splash of orange liquer to that dial…fantastic! Alright, let’ s just let this marinate overnight and see how we feel about it in the morning.

This could have been the conversation renowned chef Mario Batali had with Leonid Khankin, managing director and Chief Creative Officer of the Ernst Benz Swiss watch brand as they designed this limited edition timepiece series to aid the hungry.

The Mario Batali Limited Edition Ernst Benz Great Circle Automatic is an enhanced version of the original Ernst Benz Great Circle, but with more of Mario Batali’s signature color, orange.

The timepiece will be available in three sizes-36mm, 40mm, and 47mm, and there will only be 250 of each so get them while they’re hot.

Proceeds of the series will go to Mario’s preferred charity, The Food Bank for New York City.
