For anyone who may be bored with their biking workout or are looking for the experience of being outdoors while remaining within the confines of 4 walls, the S2 from Expresso Fitness may just be what you are looking for. This digitally interactive stationary bike gives you the ability to change up your biking routine while virtually giving you a change of scenery all the while personalizing your riding experience.

The S2 Exercise Bike comes with a 17" monitor with 3D graphics to give you the visualization of trekking down winding roads, up steep hills and giving you the feeling of riding across the terrain of your choice. Unlike most stationary bikes, the S2's handles move, giving you the ability to navigate around corners and other riders. It's ability to integrate with other S2 bikes means you can challenge your friends or ride along side-by-side in a virtual atmosphere. The S2 has 30 interactive routes and you can choose to ride with a pacer, race against a "ghost" (a replay of your best performance) or network with other bikers.
The interactive system from Expresso Fitness allows you the ability to view your results and chart your workouts at www.expresso.net. While you are riding, whether utilizing one of the routes, just watching TV or listening to music, the screen is overlaid with your workout data, so you can track your progress as you work out.
You can find the S2 at gyms throughout the US (Crunch Fitness for NY'ers). Expresso Fitness is also finding more individuals purchasing the S2 for their home gym, price is around $5000. You can learn more about Expresso Fitness and their digitally interactive fitness bike the S2 at www.expressofitness.com.

Tried one. Boring... Plus it is a huge ripoff.
Save your money and buy a bike that works with a video game console and a TV.
You will get a much better and great selection of games and save the cost of an on-board computer & flat screen.

John - you have no idea what you're talking about. Your suggestion involves playing another game while exercising. You might as well fly a kite, or watch television while exercising.
What makes this system amazing is that you're IN the video game - you steer around other bikers, it gets harder to pedal on hills, if you're slacking, the pacer will pull away, etc.
I get ten times a better workout with these machine. Give it another shot.
