Oscar De la Renta is now pushing a new clothing line through this recession and to a slightly younger consumer: children. His label is launching mini versions of his ready-to-wear dresses with children’s dresses that will be offered in floral prints to match their adult counterparts. The dresses will sell between $200 and $350. To help any mom feel good about spending that much on a dress in this economy, de La Renta is also donating $100 from the sale of each dress to the Children’s Defense Fund.
