On November 18th and 19th the Pierce Mattie Media Oasis was transformed into a fashion showroom filled with fragrant roses and bright spring apparel. Sienna Rose Inc., an LA based women’s clothing line, a Pierce Mattie client in our Fashion PR Division, unveiled their new spring 2009 collection including flowing dresses and bohemian-inspired tops.
Design Inspiration:
Sue Halevy, Sienna Rose’s founder and designer, draws upon her life experiences and passions to create each collection. Nature is an inspirational element for spring 2009 along with Sue’s extensive travels throughout the world. “I love to make people feel good about themselves and comfortable in their clothing,” Sue told me. “This in turn makes people happy and positively impacts those around them. With the current turmoil throughout the world, I want to bring calm to people’s spirits and lighten the mood.”
Color Inspirations
The Sienna Rose spring collection embodies many hues from nature. Envision turquoise waves rolling through Sydney harbor during an evening stroll, becoming one with a color filled sunset. Absorb vivid shades of pistachio green blanketing fields of clover. Rich blue tones emerge from the Australian mountains plunging into the sea foam Sydney harbor. Striking pinks and corals of the Great Barrier Reef blend with a freshly bloomed pink rose. Siren red color bursts mix with burnt shades of ochre for a vibrant effect.
Body Styles:
The free spirit of Sienna Rose is expressed through the spring collection’s array of bohemian tunics, flowing skirts and maxi dresses. Layered tiers and ruffles add a romantic and feminine touch. Detailed embroidery creates a special handmade feel for each garment and adds to the bohemian spirit of the spring collection.
Fabrication:
For spring, Sienna Rose’s classic silhouettes in knit, woven and georgette fabrics are updated with feminine lace and crochet accents. Soft and flowing fabrications and intricate embroidery create a romantic, bohemian look. The result is a free spirited spring collection full of life, energy and movement.

Drawing upon her extensive background in painting, Sue Halevy creates gorgeous print designs that are exclusive to the Sienna Rose collection. For spring, floral and bohemian imagery are key, along with paisley designs and batik printing.
