It's no secret around here--I love Isaac Mizrahi. I could not wait to see what he had in store for Spring 2008 and today that day finally arrived! Isaac's Spring 2008 Couture line of clothing is an amazing mix of Spanish flair that is independent and strong willed, as well as, feminine, soft pieces that can bring out the ladylike side of even the toughest tomboys.

The color schemes that he is known for always remains present in each piece--white, black, a splash of red, pastel colors of varying shades and degrees. The fabrics of each dress determine the way in which it is perceived--soft and flowing yet powerful and dominant. The pictures do not do the clothing justice. You really have to watch the video to see the depth and intricacy of the beading and sequin work, how a certain dress conforms to the models figure, the delicateness of the fabric on another and the brightness of color. For example, the pink "Rock Candy" mini dress pictured above is comprised of sequins and beads that sparkle and catch the light, making this dress look spectacular.

Not only does the Spring 2008 Couture line look amazing, but I feel like Isaac's personality is somehow embedded into each look--flirty, fun, creative, inspiring and adored.
