Linda Loudermilk Opening A Flagship Store & Expanding Her Luxury Eco Fashion Line

Linda Loudermilk, creative mind and passionate environmentally friendly designer behind her Luxury Eco fashion namesake, is said to be opening a Flagship store on Melrose in Los Angeles and expanding her sustainable chic fashion brand according to WWD.

Loudermilk, who I've written about previously, will be opening a 5,300-square-foot, two-story Flagship before the end of the year without missing a beat when it comes to environmentally friendly design. In the Spring of 2008, Loudermilk will launch her men's line and vegetable-tanned and naturally dyed leather handbag collection.

In a time when the environment and global warming continue to remain a key issue, sustainable fashion such as Linda Loudermilk's have no where to go but up as it increases in popularity no longer as an alternative to mainstream fashion, but as a part of mainstream fashion itself.

Lucy Briggs:

I heard about the Loudermilk Store back in 2005, what caused the delay and is it really opening this year?
-Lucy

Hi Lucy,

There is no word on why the delay happened. However, I do believe it really is opening as they have secured the property on Melrose and are set to open in the 4th quarter.

Thanks for posting a comment!
