Quick Beauty Fix's from L'Oreal to Clean and Clear to your Kitchen

Never would I have thought my kitchen held the answers to half of my beauty mishaps. Glamour magazine recently had a few sweet ideas to fix those dilemmas that would have me reaching into my fridge instead of my wallet that I thought were worth repeating.

Beer…for my hair? Talk about an alcoholic beverage going straight to your head. Apparently a post-shampoo, pre-conditioner secret to fixing frizzy hair is pouring a dark beer over your locks and letting it sit for about 2 minutes. If you’re willing to spend the extra bucks (or truthfully just want to save that six-pack for the BBQ) then L’Oreal Paris EverPure Sulfate-Free UV Spray works just as well to keep your hair hydrated on a hot day.

Another sweet idea: those grapefruits you’ve been eating to help in slimming your waistline for bikini season? Well they have another use, as well. Take five minutes out of that stressful day of yours and rest your elbows in those grapefruits halves. The citric acid that the fruit has helps to exfoliate the dry, cracked skin from your elbows.

Have a headache from hearing all of these economically sound ideas? Well, pop two aspirin and then throw one into a cup of water and mix it until it dissolves into a paste. Now put that paste on your face and keep it there for three minutes. That breakout that wouldn’t go away is now one step closer to disappearing. Or, you can always take the easier way out and splurge for Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment.

It seems like my kitchen holds more in store for me than just expanding my waistline. Who would’ve thought? Have you tried any of these beauty fix's?
