Pierce emailed me the other day with a link to this product, he thought it was cute and something I would like. Everyday since then I keep going back to this website and thinking about purchasing it. As much I always have a product on my lips at all times, the winter weather is wreaking havoc and they are dry and flaky. Looking at the Press page, I’m further convinced I should purchase this product, especially when my friend Teri at Beautiful Makeup Search is raving about it.
The Lip Scrub was given life to by Sara Happ, an admitted product junkie. You’ve got to love a success story that boasts of creating a product in your kitchen and then in no time, it is found in boutiques and stores across the globe. The Lip Scrub’s packaging is adorable, looking like a truffle box. The scrub comes in 6 flavors: Almond Creme, Peppermint, Vanilla Bean, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon Sugar and Cocoa. I’m inclined to purchase the Cocoa lip scrub, however I am so picky about the scent and taste of chocolate in my beauty products, so I may go with Almond Creme or Peppermint.
Lip scrubs are something that are not abundant on the shelves at your local beauty store, so Sara’s idea to create one was a definite way to reach out to fellow product junkies with a practical product (with a bit of indulgence) to solve that annoying beauty issue of dry, flaky lips.
If you’ve used The Lip Scrub, I’d love to hear what you thought of it.
