The Pierce Mattie team has been gearing up for the latest and greatest in home design this season. When "The Nate Berkus Show" premieres Monday, September 13th (check local listings), viewers will have a new place they can call home, literally and figuratively, weekdays this fall.

The author, designer and regular contributor to "The Oprah Winfrey Show," brings a whole new point-of-view to daytime with a show that will help viewers love the life they live.  From amazing and life-changing transformations to the best solutions to life's dilemmas from trusted experts, and from blow-your-mind before and afters to inspiring stories of finding the courage to follow your dreams, "The Nate Berkus Show" will offer help, and heart, for viewers at home.

Berkus said: "My whole life has been a conversation with women, so I wanted to create a show that reflects their lives and gives them something meaningful each day.  This is an hour of television that's time well spent – if a viewer gives me her time, she'll get something in return that will make a difference in her life.  We will laugh, create, transform, inspire, uplift each other and have a lot of fun each and every day."

Co-produced by Harpo Studios and Sony Pictures Television, and taped before an audience at CBS Studios in New York City, the all-new syndicated show promises to delight and entertain audiences with creative ideas, lots of takeaway information, and a style all its own.  During premiere week, viewers can look forward to the following:

On Monday, September 13, Nate unveils his Instant Design Studio, a killer new technology which allows him to share his vision for a space with the touch of a finger right before the audience's eyes. Based on one-of-a-kind 3-D gaming technology and custom-designed for use on "The Nate Berkus Show," the innovative application allows whatever is in Nate's mind to appear right on the screen – so just about anything Nate can think of can come to life.

Wednesday, September 15, brings the arrival of Nate's Crate, a special delivery full of surprises for fans lucky enough to receive one.  In Nate's Crate, anything Nate can envision to make a viewer's life that much better becomes a reality—as fans receive a "Special Delivery" crate on their doorstep, at their office or while live in the studio.

Finally, on Friday, September 17, Elizabeth Edwards, whose personal story of survival has resonated with women across the country, opens up to Nate about how her passion for design and her family have helped her turn the page on the past.  Edwards chats with Nate at Red Window, her Chapel Hill-based home furnishings business and the perfect place for their discussion.  Then, Edwards and Nate team up to pay it forward to another woman inspired by Edwards' story.

Throughout the season, Nate will reveal additional signature segments, including Curbside Pickup, where he shows viewers that one-of-a-kind furnishings and beautiful objects can be found in the unlikeliest of places.  Nate and his producers hit the road picking up items no longer in use, or in some cases, just cast to the curb, and finds creative ways to give them a second life.

Terry Murphy, executive producer, said: "I'm thrilled to be a part of a show that will uplift and inspire our audience each day with stories, tips, and ideas that matter in their lives.  Everyone deserves to love the life they live, and this is the show that will lead the way for viewers to do just that.  Together with Nate, we'll inspire, innovate and empower our audience every day to take control of their lives and have fun along the way."

"The Nate Berkus Show," cleared in 95% of the country, including all of the NBC owned and operated stations, will premiere in national syndication beginning Monday, September 13 (check local listings). Hosted by Nate Berkus, popular design expert, New York Times best-selling author and regular contributor to "The Oprah Winfrey Show" since 2002, the daily series will explore a broad range of lifestyle subjects providing take-away information and inspiration that will make a real difference in viewers' daily lives.  Relaxed, unpretentious and accessible, Berkus will bring his passion for design and life to an upbeat and entertaining hour filled with a vast array of topics – from stories of personal transformation to headline-making personalities to the best design tips & secrets, all explored through Berkus' distinctive filter, his sense of discovery and desire to challenge himself and others to try new things and be adventurous in their day to day lives. SPT will handle worldwide distribution efforts for the show and advertiser sales, and co-produce the series with Harpo Studios. The show is executive produced by Terry Murphy
