The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's first fundraising effort in New York (10.10.07), hosted by Nancy Jarecki, CEO & founder of Betty Beauty, was a successful collaboration of music, cities, personalities, profit, food and wine!
“Do Good” celebrities included Ethan Hawke, Jon Bon Jovi, Trisha Yearwood, Jewel, John Rich, Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin, Randy Scruggs, Taylor Swift, Raul Malo, Ashford & Simpson, Gina Gershon, Greg Kinnear and Country Music Hall of Famer Bill Anderson. Six country giants swapped songs and stories in front of an influential audience of movers and shakers all gathered by Nancy Jarecki to raise money and awareness for Country Music.

Tickets were $1,000 for an individual ticket, $50,000 for a platinum table with 10 guests; charity auctions included a Ford GT, luxurious vacations, VIP treatment at award shows and more while proceeds went directly to the museum. Kyle Young, the museum’s director commented: "This music is an important part of America's culture, and we exist to preserve the history of that music." Country music’s roots are imbedded in today’s music --- and when celebrities get together for a cause, we have the duty to spread the word and enlist support!
