It's amazing what a little motivation can do. Blogger, Evil Mad Scientist, decided he wanted to add a little fun and excitement to the daily chore of sweeping his hardwood floor, so he created an invention. He took a remote controlled Lamborghini Gallardo and attached the head of an electrostatic dustmop (like a Swiffer) to the car. As he notes, it is similar to the Roomba, but a lot cheaper and a lot more fun.

This Blogger also shows you how you can create your own with his step by step guide (with photos) on how to put it all together. I have to admit, this is something that will not only excite the littlest members of my family to want to sweep the floor, but I have a sneaking suspicion that a much older male figure in my home may be sweeping the floor a lot more often.
