When was the last time you went on a vacation? A vacation from your vacation does not count. For my family and me it was in July of 2001, which seems like ages ago. We went to Nova Scotia, which was phenomenal, but a little exhausting from planning all of our own activities.

Another vacation of sorts that brings back memories is my honeymoon to the Pocono Mountains. It was a disaster in the making when the hotel did not have our room ready, our “all-inclusive” activities no longer existed and they wanted to downgrade us to a different suite when we wouldn’t accept our reserved room the way it was (they obviously forgot about housekeeping that day).
